Gear pump
Gear pump is a kind of positive displacement pump, that to transfer liquid by changing of working volume between the pump casing and meshing gears. Two enclosed chambers are formed by two gears, pump casing and front and rear covers. When the gears rotate, the chamber volume on the gear engaged side increases from small to large, forming a vacuum and sucking the liquid, and the chamber volume on the gear meshed side decreases from large to small, squeezing the liquid into the discharge pipeline. Gear pump’s main parts are casing, shaft, gears, casing cover, shaft seal, bearings and pressure relief valve.
